RAF CLINIC July 2022

RAF In-Service July 2022 Clinic

The Rainier Animal Fund (RAF) will host its next In-Service Clinic on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital. The clinic is available to qualifying Rainier Animal Fund individual grantees as well as clients from area pet nonprofit partners. Clinic services to include medical procedures, surgical services and advanced veterinary care. Appointments are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Priority to pets currently on our waitlist for care.)

In-Service Clinic to be managed by the Rainier Animal Fund with select staffing and hospital expenses provided by Elliott Bay Animal Hospital. Individual patient care to be covered through the Rainier Animal Fund grant program, with additional services provided to nonprofit partners at a reduced/nonprofit rate.

Program Goals

  • Provide support to families needing advanced medical care for their pets who cannot afford the full cost of treatment. (Services paid for by RAF medical grants.)
  • Provide an avenue in which Rainier Animal Fund grant dollars can be stretched due to reduced costs for procedures on “in-service” day.*
  • Provide an invaluable resource to community partners and area nonprofits whose clients need access to veterinary care and surgical services at a reduced cost

(*The RAF In-service clinic operates under reduced costs as the program is partially staffed by qualified RAF volunteers, including the staff veterinarian, along with donated and discounted medical expenses.)

To participate, please read the following guidelines and next steps.
