At the Rainier Animal Fund (RAF), we are committed to helping pets and families throughout western Washington by providing financial assistance for qualifying surgical and dental procedures.
While we wish we could help with every veterinary need, our grant program is limited to cases involving possible surgical or dental treatment. This means we are typically unable to provide assistance for general illness, emergency hospitalization, medications, end-of-life services, or other non-surgical veterinary expenses.
We most commonly help with:
- Dental exams, cleanings, and extractions
- Soft tissue surgeries, including spay, neuter, mass removals, amputations, foreign body abdominal, bladder stone removals, urinary blockages, eye nucleations, and splenectomies.
If your pet has been diagnosed with — or is currently being evaluated for — a surgical or dental procedure, please fill out the Application for Care Form below. Our team will follow up as soon as possible with information about eligibility and next steps.
Please note that the Rainier Animal Fund is not able to respond to timely emergency requests. If your pet is in critical condition or needs emergency care, please contact the Doney Coe Pet Clinic.
Rainier Animal Fund is funded by generous donations from individuals, businesses, and community partners. If your pet receives assistance and you are ever in a position to do so, we welcome a voluntary donation to Rainier Animal Fund to help another family in need. Donations are completely optional and have no impact on eligibility or the amount of assistance provided.
