Bothell FREE Pet License and Microchip Event

City of Bothell is partnering with the Rainier Animal Fund and its sister hospital, Bothell Pet Hospital, for a FREE pet microchip and pet license event.

The event is set for Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Bothell Police Department. Rainier Animal Fund and the team at Bothell Pet Hospital will be providing FREE pet microchips while supplies last. The City of Bothell will also be waiving pet license fees on June 1st for in-person pet licensing at Bothell City Hall (City Hall will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). Proof of current rabies vaccination will be required for licensing.

  • FREE Home Again microchips for dogs and cats from Rainier Animal Fund
  • Individuals limited to two pets per person. (Exceptions made for litters of puppies and/or kittens with pet parent.)
  • ALL dogs MUST be on a leash no longer than six feet long or in a carrier (retractable leashes will not be allowed) and must be under owner control at all times.
  • ALL Cats MUST be in a carrier. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Free parking in the parking garage under Bothell City Hall.

Microchips are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Supplies are limited. This community special program is part of larger, nationwide effort to help protect our pets and keep them safe!

FREE Bothell Pet Licenses available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Bothell City Hall June 1st ONLY. Proof of Rabies vaccine required.
